My search returned “Restricted Access,” what does that mean?
When using Find People off campus (or off the IUP network), some personal data, such as home phone and address, are restricted.

I’m a student and my information is incorrect, or I want to restrict some of my information.
You can update your information through MyIUP. Login with your network username and password and go to the “Personal Info” tab. Under the “Personal Information” section, click “Update” beside the “Your contact information” line. Students can also choose not to show in the directory at all. Please go to the Student Services Center in Clark Hall to have your Confidentiality-Indicator set in your records.
I can’t find the person I’m looking for.
Confirm the spelling and that all other fields are correct. If you still do not find the person, it may be that they are: a student that has not been registered in the past 3 semesters; a student that has chosen to be omitted from the directory; or an employee that is not active.
IUP Directory Data Services are to be used exclusively to advance IUP's mission of education, research, and scholarship for use by prospective students, students, faculty, and the staff of IUP. Any use of the IUP Directory Data Services contrary to these goals will be deemed a violation of this agreement. Any person accessing or establishing a connection to the IUP Directory Data Service is a user. All users agree to comply with the terms and conditions as established by this agreement. If a user violates any provision of this agreement, IUP reserves the right to terminate the user's right to use this service and/or seek damages.
Users shall use the IUP Directory Data Service for lawful purposes only. Use of the Directory Data Service or other computing resources for commercial or political purposes, including any sort of solicitation, is prohibited. Users shall not use the IUP Directory Data Services to access information to advertise or perform any commercial or political solicitation or obtain personal economic benefit, including, but not limited to, the solicitation of users to become users of other online information services. Any conduct by users that, in IUP's discretion, restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the IUP Directory Data Service will not be permitted.
The IUP Directory Data Service may only be used for legal purposes and may not be used for any purpose that is illegal, immoral, unethical, dishonest, or damaging to the reputation of the university.
