Directory Data Services Policy

IUP Directory Data Services are to be used exclusively to advance IUP's mission of education, research and scholarship for use by prospective students, students, faculty and the staff of IUP. Any use of the IUP Directory Data Services contrary to these goals will be deemed a violation of this Agreement. Any person accessing or establishing a connection to the IUP Directory Data Service is a User. All Users agree to comply with the terms and conditions as established by this agreement. If User violates any provision of this agreement, IUP reserves the right to terminate User's right to use this service and/or seek damages.

User shall use the IUP Directory Data Service for lawful purposes only. Use of the Directory Data Service or other computing resources for commercial or political purposes, including any sort of solicitation, is prohibited. User shall not use the IUP Directory Data Services to access information to advertise or perform any commercial or political solicitation or obtain personal economic benefit, including, but not limited to, the solicitation of users to become users of other online information services. Any conduct by User that in IUP's discretion restricts or inhibits any other User from using or enjoying the IUP Directory Data Service will not be permitted.

The IUP Directory Data Service may only be used for legal purposes and may not be used for any purpose that is illegal, immoral, unethical, dishonest, or damaging to the reputation of the university.
